I am originally from Hong Kong, and have been living in the Midwest region of the U.S. for about a decade. My husband and I have two wonderful children together. Mulan (nickname) is a preschooler and Mushu (nickname) is a baby. They have inspired me in so many ways. One of the things they have inspired me to do is to teach them Chinese.

Since we don’t live in a diverse city in the U.S., I want to create a Chinese-speaking environment at home and foster an appreciation for Chinese culture while raising them in the States.
